Students Explore Astronomy Through Hands-On Telescope Building Workshop

Students from Ek Tara participated in an enriching learning experience at Presidency University, where they engaged in an interactive telescope-building workshop conducted by experts from the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA).

During this hands-on session, students successfully constructed their own functional telescopes and were introduced to the fascinating fundamentals of astronomy, sky-watching, and telescope usage. This practical exposure not only sparked curiosity but also deepened their interest in exploring the universe.

In addition to student participation, our Science Technology Engineering Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) educators had the opportunity to connect with a vibrant network of Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) teachers from across the city. This exchange of ideas and teaching approaches added significant value to the overall experience.
