A Day We Will Always Remember: At Jola Bhumi Utsav 2026

Some days stay with you long after they are over. Jola Bhumi Utsav 2026, organised by Disappearing Dialogue, was one such day for Ek Tara.

There was a quiet mix of excitement and nervous energy as our students arranged their stall and rehearsed their lines. Soon, that nervousness turned into confidence. Our HEP volunteers created a space that invited conversation, and the students spoke about wetlands with clarity and care — not just presenting a project, but sharing something they truly believed in.

When some of them stepped onto the stage to perform, there was a brief pause, a deep breath — and then powerful voices carrying an urgent message about protecting fragile ecosystems. It was a proud moment to witness.

The most unforgettable highlight came with the announcement that Ek Tara is once again the Regional Winner of the Wipro Earthian Sustainability Project. There was applause, disbelief, and emotional smiles. It wasn’t just a win — it was recognition of months of effort, teamwork, and perseverance.

What stayed with us most was the quiet confidence on their faces. That belief in themselves is the real achievement.
