A Stage Built on Confidence and Imagination

About 100 students from Grades 1 to 11 came together to stage a powerful adaptation of Disney’s Moana Jr., transforming the terrace of Ek Tara into a space of imagination, courage, and collective storytelling. Featuring live choir music, expressive choreography, and sustainable costumes created from waste materials, the production marked a rare milestone as the first terrace-staged musical of its kind. For many performers—first-generation learners from underserved communities—taking part in a globally recognised musical became a moment of confidence, pride, and self-belief. Presented by the Tomorrowland Foundation Music and Arts School at Ek Tara, the programme also included an Art and Science Exhibition, celebrating creativity, learning, and possibility.
