Admissions Update | Academic Year 2026–27

The journey began in December with home visits, parent interactions, and an initial round of observations conducted by the Child Welfare & Parental Engagement (CWPE) team. These interactions helped us understand each child’s background, home language, and early experiences. This was followed by a final round of play-based observations from 6–14 January, where children participated in hands-on, engaging activities in a warm and non-threatening environment.
Led by a dedicated team of pre-primary teachers, the Programme Manager, and the Special Educator, children were observed across key developmental areas such as early math, language and communication, pre-literacy, motor skills, concept awareness, and social-emotional readiness. The focus throughout remained on allowing children to express themselves naturally and confidently.
Through this holistic and compassionate process, 53 children are set to join the Ek Tara Learning Center this year—marking the beginning of a new chapter filled with learning, growth, and opportunity.
As we welcome our new cohort, we invite you to be part of these beginnings. Support our work, partner with us, or help spread the word—because every child deserves a strong and nurturing start.
