Asian Street Smart Exchange: A Collaborative Regional Learning Experience

The Asian Street Smart Exchange was a meaningful and engaging 4–5 day learning experience that brought together teams from across the region and beyond to share ideas, experiences, and innovative practices. Participants joined from Belgium, Jordan, the Philippines, Mauritius, Nepal, Turkey, the Netherlands, and France, creating a rich and diverse space for collaboration and reflection on education and community engagement for street-connected children.

Each day featured interactive sessions, group discussions, and hands-on activities, where participants shared real-life experiences, challenges, and successes. Peer learning remained at the heart of the exchange, with open conversations and collaborative work strengthening connections and encouraging collective problem-solving.

The sessions were lively and participatory, highlighting creative, experiential, and child-centred approaches. Informal interactions outside the sessions further deepened relationships and built a strong sense of community.
