Celebrating World Music Day at Ek Tara

Children participated in a range of musical activities—from singing folk songs and clapping games to exploring basic instruments like tambourines, shakers, and drums. Music teachers led interactive sessions where children not only sang but also learned about rhythm, beats, and the universal language of music.
The celebration also included performances by students, who showcased songs they had learned throughout the year. Some even composed simple tunes of their own, filling the rooms with creativity and pride.
At Ek Tara, we believe that music is an essential part of holistic education. It nurtures emotional expression, builds confidence, and brings communities together. World Music Day was a celebration of these values—and of the joyful sound of children finding their voice.
