Distribution of Sanitary Pads

Upto 500 million women and girls are living each month in period poverty.
Due to financial constraints, they lack access to essential tools for menstrual hygiene management.
Now that the government has extended the lockdown period the situation has worsened and most of the women and girls in the slums cannot afford to buy sanitary pads. Period poverty is a sad reality!!
But we heard their cries and with the help of Ananya we were able to procure cloth pads and distribute them as a part of our Covid-19 Relief and Rehabilitation Project.
These pads are sustainable, biodegradable and will help in reducing sanitary waste. They can be washed and reused as well.
So a very happy period to all!
