Financial Literacy with Mothers

A workshop on Financial Literacy was organized by 12 students from J D Birla Institute for the parents of Ek Tara Childhood Learning Centre on the 23rd, 24th, and 25th. It was a four hour workshop. The primary objective of the workshop was to enlighten parents about the importance of saving money and to provide insights into different government schemes for investment, enabling them to secure their financial future. The volunteers effectively conveyed the significance of saving money to the parents, while also discussing various government schemes that could assist them in growing their funds for the future. This initiative by the volunteers was commendable as it aimed to educate parents who often face challenges in meeting their daily expenses.
