Ko:QAM

Our children participated in the opening act for Ko:QAM Site II at Anjali-Pratyay. This event was a celebration of the Queer Community, emphasizing the significance of inclusivity across faith, class, caste, and gender, and showcasing efforts toward a more equitable and accepting future. It was truly touching to witness how well the kids engaged with everyone, especially since it was their first meaningful interaction with the Queer Community.
They delivered a performance centered on the journey of discovering and embracing one’s true self. It highlighted the diverse range of experiences and identities that often go unnoticed as we strive to fit in. The performance combined contemporary dance, sound effects, music, and spoken word, all focused on themes of identity, self-acceptance, and resilience.
