Shikhamitra Training
The Math training organised by Sikshamitra at Ek Tara for 16 educators spanned three days. The training emphasised fundamental Math concepts like comparison, number introduction, number writing, zero concept, place value, and core operations to build a solid foundation in essential mathematical skills.
During the training, teachers were introduced to and learned how to utilise four types of TLMs: Abacus, Ganitmala, Arrow cards, and Token cards.
The training yielded several positive outcomes, including: a) Acquisition of techniques to enhance student engagement and interest in Math. b) Development of innovative strategies and approaches for effectively teaching basic Math concepts. c) Creation of new teaching materials and resources to support Math instruction.
