The Benign Connect

1 out of 5 girls drop out of school after they start menstruating. Conversation around menstruation is often avoided because of social stigma and embarrassment. Girls tend to drop out due to inaccessibility of period products, isolation and lack of knowledge around the issue. To get the conversation around menstruation going The Benign connect conducted a Q/A on menstrual hygiene with our girls. This student led organization working towards the advancement of SDGs 4, 10 & 13. They also distributed 450 sanitary napkins to our girls.
