Walk For The WetLands

The ‘Walk for the Wetlands’ was a significant part of the Jalabhumi Utsav held in the East Kolkata Wetlands. It aimed at promoting the conservation of Kolkata’s natural heritage, specifically the East Kolkata Wetlands. This event brought together over 150 students from various renowned schools in the city to participate in activities aimed at conserving and celebrating Kolkata’s natural heritage, in honor of World Wetlands Day.
Ek Tara students also joined in, taking part in a walk through the wetlands to foster a stronger bond with nature. During the event, our children showcased their dedication to environmental preservation through a thought-provoking play. By actively participating in this event, the students gained a global perspective on the significance of wetlands conservation.
